Curious Living Culture

Write for us

Curious Living Culture welcomes pitches that make a cultural subject clearer, more interesting or easier to notice. We are interested in careful, original writing grounded in a specific question and written for thoughtful general readers.

What to pitch

Propose an article about customs, objects, symbols, arts or ideas, with a defined angle rather than a broad survey. Strong pitches explain the central question, why it matters beyond the moment, the material you would draw on and what readers will understand by the end.

How to write it

Use precise language, give readers enough context to follow the subject and distinguish verifiable details from personal interpretation. A fresh angle is more useful than a familiar theme stated in general terms. Avoid unsupported claims and sweeping statements about whole cultures or communities.

Send a proposal

Send pitches through the Contact page and select the editorial question option. Include a working title, a short outline and a brief description of your relevant experience or approach. Do not send a complete article unless requested.

Our point of view

Meaning begins with attention

A small habit or ordinary object can hold a larger story. We look closely, explain the context and leave room for more than one reading.
